Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Transit Stop at Free against QuickTrain's $0.99. Transit Stop also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (33K vs 8). QuickTrain's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 48%) and ads (none vs shown). On update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Transit Stop is free to download; QuickTrain costs $0.99 up front. Transit Stop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QuickTrain sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Transit Stop holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transit Stop has 33K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Transit Stop's written reviews are positive against 87% of QuickTrain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Transit Stop ships an update every 2 months, QuickTrain every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
