Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Redeyed at 100% against NJ.com's 19%. Redeyed also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). NJ.com's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 31 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Redeyed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of NJ.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of Redeyed's.
NJ.com ships an update every 3 weeks, Redeyed every 31 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
