About

Reserve Points Timekeeper

Features

Military reservists are often allowed to perform additional work for retirement points only rather than pay, but it can be difficult to keep track of the time spent and tasks accomplished. Reserve Points Timekeeper gives you a FREE, dead-simple, lightweight tool for recording the work that you're probably already doing. Press "Start" and give the task a general title, then "Stop" and fill in more details for accurate accountability. It then groups that work into authorized 2 or 4-hour blocks and helps you enter it to the system of record so you can get credit and keep track of your accomplishments while helping to enforce business rules such as scheduling the appropriate number of drills for future dates. (The app is not able to communicate directly with any such official system of record) Additionally, enter some basic data about your expected retirement rank and points so far to help see the long-term value in those retirement points. You're not getting paid today, but putting a number to that future pension demonstrates the financial benefits of recording your work. While a task is in progress, you can even see the value of that task climbing as the clock runs. It's usually not much, but pay attention to the lifetime value. Your work is not just important to the Service, but it will benefit you in retirement. This is an unofficial tool created by a reservist, for reservists. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the US Government, DOW, or any service and is not a system of record for any purpose. Retirement values are estimates only using best available data and are for personal awareness only. Your privacy is very important. This app does not collect any information about you and all data you enter is stored only on your device. No cookies, no tracking, no ads. It is not authorized or designed for any sensitive data including CUI, FOUO, or classified information. This app is totally free to use and all features are enabled at no charge. If you like it and find value in it, see the info page. In-app purchases designation is required to enable optional tips to the developer.
