Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
世界日報 World Journal holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 世界日報 World Journal has 10K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of 新唐人電視台 NTDTV's written reviews are positive against 53% of 世界日報 World Journal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
新唐人電視台 NTDTV ships an update every 3 months, 世界日報 World Journal every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
