Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GolfPass at 4.8 against LPGA's 2.7. GolfPass also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 19%) and ratings volume (5.4K vs 142). LPGA's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfPass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. LPGA asks for nothing beyond the download.
GolfPass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfPass has 5.4K ratings behind it against 142, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of LPGA's written reviews are positive against 46% of GolfPass's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
