Verdict
Emagine Theatres and Chirper both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Chirper's written reviews are positive against 12% of Emagine Theatres's. Chirper also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). Emagine Theatres's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 26). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
