Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: LES app at 3.5 against SmartHub's 2.7. LES app also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). SmartHub's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
LES app holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartHub has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of SmartHub's written reviews are positive against 0% of LES app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SmartHub ships an update every 2 months, LES app every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and June 6, 2026 respectively.
