Lapsr helps you work on a bad habit. Every time you feel the urge to do something you're trying to stop, you log it in the app. It takes a few seconds. You just say whether you resisted or gave in. After a while, Lapsr starts to notice things. Like maybe your urges always happen late at night, or when you're stressed, or when you're alone. It shows you those patterns so you can see them too. It also sends you a reminder before the times when you usually struggle most. There are no streaks to keep up with. It doesn't matter if you give in sometimes. Every log helps the app understand you better. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kaiser Permanente at none against Lapsr's 2. Kaiser Permanente also leads on ratings volume (1.1M vs 2) and chart position (#35 vs unranked). Lapsr's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Lapsr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaiser Permanente has 1.1M ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
