Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: LA Kings at 4.8 against DodgersNation.com's 4.3. LA Kings also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (594 vs 93). DodgersNation.com's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
LA Kings holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LA Kings has 594 ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of LA Kings's written reviews are positive against 56% of DodgersNation.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
LA Kings ships an update every 2 months, DodgersNation.com every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
