Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Malta Beach Buddy at 100% against Ryanair's 17%. Malta Beach Buddy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Ryanair's advantage is ratings volume (89K vs 1) and chart position (#94 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
