Be careful. Ryanair takes every opportunity to get more money out of you. I nearly got fooled into paying 34 quid for insurance I didn’t need.
Terrible app and it’s getting worse!
Firstly, let me say that I use RyanAir a lot - over 100 flights per year for the past 15 years. So I’ve had an opportunity to see the app evolve over that time and frankly it’s been getting worse and worse recently. I’ve been getting all possible errors from the “Something’s gone wrong with your request” to issues with payment, seat selection etc. Not to mention performance which with every update is getting worse. I don’t usually write app reviews but after another unsuccessful attempt to check in for my flight I just couldn’t hold it in anymore!

Charged twice and no way around it
When I bought my ticket, I was charged to select my seat and for my baggage
When I checked in, there is an additional charge to pick the seat, and again I got charged for baggage. An extra €40 for things I had already paid for.
It’s either that or not fly. They have you in your were stuck with them.

Constant bugs
Had to try 4 times to complete check in as the app keeps crashing and hanging. Total junk
