Great if it’s the only airline. They have tried to upgrade my baggage about 5 times. Appalling and that was just to check in. It was even worse trying to book

I’m a technically capable person and the friction in your journey is appalling. Suggest your UX team navigate through. The baggage option complexity is absolutely shocking. Sure that customers are converting as they have no option to but experience has deteriorated significantly
Never been more pleased to delete an app
I only downloaded this app as it’s the law of O’Leary that you have to have it otherwise you can’t board their plane. I booked a package with Tui and they put me on this “airline”. Plane was disgustingly unclean when we got boarded. Litter everywhere. Dirty, wet seats throughout. I asked for the area I was sitting to be cleaned, cabin crew refused. When we got off I asked cabin crew if plane would be cleaned and they said no!! 3rd world airline. AVOID!!!

Seat selection
There are three sears available together. However it has automatically selected seats for me and my daughter on two seats without my son. I could not select the three seats for us all so now my son is sitting on his own. Why couldn’t I change mine and my daughter’s seats.
They go out of their way to make things unpleasant for the user
If you don’t want to pay for a seat, RyanAir goes out of their way to waste your time and make things unpleasant for you. Technology protects us from many tedious and uncomfortable things but this is tech made to be tedious and uncomfortable in the hope that they will irritate you out of 12 more £. Gross.

You'd have to be a masochist
You'd have to be a masochist to find any joy in the horrific experience that is the Ryanair app. It's a fab example of how bosses just don't care about their customers as long as they're making money. It's slow to load, frequently fails to find your booking even if you've clicked a direct link from an email and wastes your time making you look at options to spend more money repeatedly, even when you have clearly stated you don't want them. If there was any choice I would not use this organisation. I'm not one to wish ill on people generally but I really hope their boss meets a sticky end somehow-preferably being sucked out of one of his own planes sooner rather than later, although I suspect he wouldn't be seen dead on a Ryanair flight in the first place.

Authentic Ryanair experience in an app
You have to download the app or pay €50! You have to check in online or pay €50! You can’t check in before 24h before your flight though, but you can if you pay for a seat upgrade! Do you want to check in for your return flight at the same time? Oh thanks Ryanair, yeah that’s unexpectedly helpful! Well we asked you, but you’ll have to pay for a seat upgrade first! Why they do everything with such hatred for their customers I have no idea. I swore not to fly with them 15 years ago after watching them force a man with a rolled up print and a small cabin bag to FOLD his print up so it would fit in his small bag, or of course, pay €50. Ryanair is the worst company in the world, better to work for British tobacco or Raytheon or something than these clowns.

Days before flight, App kept spinning everyday on 2 phones and couldn’t add online either. Ended up being charged extra at the airport

Despite trying over a dozen times to scan our passports the app it wouldn’t allow it saying the Data didn’t match. We then went and re entered the data again and it still wouldn’t scan

The app is misleading when you already purchased a bag it makes you think you have to purchase another one and charge you again. It should automatically know I’m bringing a bag on that I already paid for
