Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 猫眼 at 4.7 against 播播TV's 1.0. 猫眼 also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). 播播TV's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (9.2 vs 14.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
