Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MOBIAN at 59% against Greenwheels's 5%. MOBIAN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Greenwheels's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (225 vs 31). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Greenwheels holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Greenwheels has 225 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Greenwheels's written reviews are positive against 59% of MOBIAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Greenwheels ships an update every 10 days, MOBIAN every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
