The CheckedID app is intended to establish someone's identity. Very safe, easy to use and fully compliant with laws and regulations. CheckedID is intended for companies and organizations that need certainty with whom they are dealing, even if these persons are located at a distance. All it takes is a formal identity document (e.g. passport, ID card, residence permit or driving licence) and a standard smartphone or tablet connected to the internet. The app can be used directly from the App Store, while customization is still provided. CheckedID offers a suitable solution for the perfect ID check for every situation. With the CheckedlD app, images and data of an ID document and its holder are captured. If the device and document used support this, the NFC chip in the document is read. The app is very safe (“bank grade”) and does not leave any personal data on the device. The app sends the images and data to the secure CheckedID servers, where the automated verification takes place. The result is available in less than 15 seconds. The secure verification report states whether the ID is in order and provides the verified personal data of the holder. All this in full compliance with the GDPR requirements. CheckedID is a business service developed and owned by JanusID B.V. (The Netherlands). It contains components licensed from Mitek Systems B.V. The CheckedID app is free to use for all employees and guests of companies and organizations that have a subscription to the CheckedID service.
