Run Roster's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Run Roster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5K Runmeter Run Walk Training has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of 5K Runmeter Run Walk Training's written reviews are positive against 50% of Run Roster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
