The idea behind this application is that it will help you track and manage your Vitamin D. This new version integrates with the Apple Health app to make seamless data exchange possible in the following ways: * on setup, profile information is fetched from the Health App if the user allows it * the user's weight (a factor in D generation) is fetched on an ongoing basis, making it unnecessary to update it * the app will write vitamin D doses, including session information into the Health app You setup basic information one time, like your height and weight and skin type and then any time you are outside, during the prescribed hours (and parts of the year), you can have it compute the amount of D you are getting in a stopwatch interface. It will also track how long you can stay out and warn you when the time is up. The application will notify you with the next opportunity to generate vitamin D. Each day, you can see forecasts based on your location, and you can also see the solar position, your generated vitamin D vs. target etc. In the Pro version, you can see your exposures's history and you will be able to schedule future events for next exposures. NewMe Hertz is a wellbeing and self-reflection tool for exploring how you feel and accompanying it with sound and breath, on iPhone and Apple Watch. Pick your emotion on a visual 17-level scale, listen to its tone and adjust the intensity. Or let the app suggest a starting point based on how you are today. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Status: a live estimate of your mood (emotion, valence, arousal and dominance) with its confidence always visible, plus a manual check-in with five sliders. • Find your frequency: a four-axis guide that suggests where to start based on how you feel. • Session: play the tone of the chosen emotion and adjust its intensity; on the watch, with the Digital Crown. • Guided breathing: breathing exercises with visual, haptic and voice guidance, reminders and consistency stats. If your iPhone or watch reads signals during the session, you get a before/after comparison. • Neuroacoustic journeys: guided sessions with binaural beats and isochronic tones. • Wellbeing trends: how your mood evolves over hours and days against your own personal baseline. • Passive estimation (optional): if you turn it on, the app uses Apple Health signals (heart rate, variability, sleep, activity) to estimate your mood in the background. Each signal group is enabled separately and can be switched off at any time. • Apple Watch companion: the same scale, tones, breathing and sessions on your wrist. • With or without an Apple Watch: the live estimate from body signals uses the watch; without it you can do the manual check-in, the facial check with the camera and the voice check, and use everything else. BACKED BY RESEARCH Every breathing exercise and every neuroacoustic journey is grounded in published studies: the app cites its references and shows the level of evidence on each card, so you know what is well documented and what is still experimental. PRIVACY FIRST Everything is processed and stored on your device. No accounts, no ads, no data sales. Every permission is optional and reversible, and you can erase all your data from the app whenever you want. IMPORTANT NewMe Hertz is a wellbeing and self-awareness tool. It is not a medical product: it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace care from a health professional. Mood estimates are approximations with a stated confidence, not measurements of what you feel. The levels of the scale are conceptual, and the audio frequencies are a symbolic assignment of the project, not a measurement of your brain activity. Wellbeing trends are inspired by well-known questionnaires but are never a score or a diagnosis. Available in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: NewMe at 100% against D Minder Pro's 34%. NewMe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). D Minder Pro's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
