The clearest difference is review sentiment: Roots | App at 100% against Church App's 52%. Roots | App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3). Church App's advantage is ratings volume (993 vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
