Answer a few simple questions, and Ungasp builds a breath practice that's yours. Tell it how you feel, where you are, what you need and how much time you have, and it builds your session on the spot. When a practice finishes, Ungasp asks how it was. Too hard, and the next one is gentler. Too easy, and it goes a step further. Your recent breath holds set the length of the next ones. An orb on screen grows and shrinks with each breath, and sound or haptics tell you when to switch, so you can follow along with your eyes closed. Prefer to pick? There's a ready-made practice whether you're new to breathwork or have practised for years, from Coherence Breathing and 4-7-8 to Advanced Breath Holds, Kapalbhati, Meditation Breath and more. Want a number to track? The CO2 Tolerance Test times one long, slow exhale and gives you a score in seconds. The Progress tab shows how it moves over the weeks, with your sessions and minutes alongside. Every practice is built from phases you can change. Make your own pattern from inhales, holds, exhales and recovery breaths at whatever timings suit you. Then chain patterns into a set and run them as one longer session. If you can describe a breath practice, you can probably build it in Ungasp. There's no account to make, and everything stays on your phone. It's free to download, and everything, Build My Practice included, is open for 30 days with no card needed. After that Box Breathing and 4-7-8 stay free, and Ungasp Pro unlocks the rest. I created Build My Practice because I felt there was a need for something simple but clever, that builds a breath practice from a few simple questions, with no extra hardware to buy. Even with all my experience of breathwork, I like using it, because it creates unique, interesting patterns that I love practising.
