Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Neverball at 5.0 against Unpossible's 4.6. Neverball also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Unpossible's advantage is ratings volume (906 vs 7) and chart position (#99 vs unranked). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Neverball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unpossible has 906 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Unpossible's written reviews are positive against 78% of Neverball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Unpossible ships an update every 41 months, Neverball every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
