Caden checks your running form from a short phone video. Film 3 to 10 seconds of yourself running side-on. Caden gives you a form score out of 100, your cadence, and a clear list of what to fix. It is gait analysis without the lab visit. No sensors, no watch, only your iPhone. WHAT CADEN MEASURES Caden grades seven parts of your running form from the side view: • Where your foot lands compared with your hip • Knee bend on landing • Knee bend while landed • Bounce, meaning how much your hips rise and fall • Knee bend at push-off • Upper body lean • Head position You also get your cadence in steps per minute and your foot strike type: heel, midfoot or forefoot. On high frame rate clips, Caden also estimates your ground contact time. SEE EVERY PHASE OF YOUR STRIDE The Breakpoints view freezes your run at foot strike, midstance and toe-off. Each frame puts a skeleton overlay on your body and shows the numbers for that phase. Watch your clip with the overlay, without it, or as the original upload. Tap any segment to see what Caden saw and why it matters. You also get how to fix it, a coach tip, your measurement against the ideal range, and the research behind it. AN AI RUNNING COACH THAT READS YOUR RESULTS If you allow it, Caden sends your measurements and up to three frames to an AI coach. It writes you a short, plain-language note about your running technique. A PLAN BUILT FROM YOUR WEAKEST SCORES Tap Build my exercise plan to get a 4 or 8 week program. You do three short sessions a week, about 15 to 20 minutes each. Sessions mix running drills like A-marches and quick-feet strides with strength, balance, core and mobility work. Think calf raises, glute bridges and split squats. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Film again after a few weeks. The Stats tab shows your form score over time and a chart for each metric. Before and after puts your newest run next to your first one. WHO IT IS FOR • New runners who want to learn good running form early • 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon runners who want a more efficient stride • Runners who overstride, land hard on their heels, or bounce too much • Treadmill runners. Film from the side. HOW TO FILM Turn your phone sideways and prop it at hip height. Run across the frame with your whole body in view, head to feet. Good light helps. Caden records at 120 fps when your phone supports it. If a clip is too dark, too short, or the runner is too small, Caden tells you instead of guessing. GOOD TO KNOW • It measures in 2D from video. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose injuries. If you have pain, see a physio or doctor. • Caden stores your clip privately under your account and removes the audio. You can delete any analysis, or your whole account, in Settings. PRICING Caden is free to download. You can open a full example analysis on the Home screen. To analyze your own runs you need Caden Pro, a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The app shows the price before you buy. Apple charges your Apple ID account. The subscription renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
