This app is for users like me who want a quick glance at their daily calories. We have many nutrition apps out there, but not all of them display the complete picture, I wanted to easily be able to see whether or not I was sitting in a surplus or a deficit depending on my current training/nutrition goals. My preferred nutrition app only pulls in exercises, ignoring rest and general active calories, only giving part of the picture. This app simply pulls in the Active, Rest and Dietary calories from Apple Health and displays the combined Burned Calories, Consumed Calories and the difference between them. We optionally also display the 3 macros, Carbs, Fats and Protein, this can be enabled in the settings tab, where you will also need to set your goal values per day. On the history tab, you are able to view a list of your calories over the last 7, 14 and 30 days. --------------- Requirements --------------- This app requires that the device has the Apple Health app installed and access to the following permissions: - Active Energy - Resting Energy - Dietary energy Optionally, for those who also wish to view their Macros within the app, we would need the following permissions: - Carbohydrates - Protein - Total Fats ---------------------- Supported languages ---------------------- English German Spanish Hindi Arabic Portuguese French Russian Japanese Korean Malay Vietnamese Turkish Tamil Italian Polish Ukrainian Romanian Dutch Thai Hungarian Czech Swedish Hebrew Slovak Danish Finnish Norwegian Chinese (Simplified)

Most weight loss apps make you guess. Deficit doesn't. Snapping photos of your plate won't tell you how much to eat. Deficit calculates the exact calorie deficit you need to hit your goal weight—based on your stats, your activity, and real biometric data from your wearables. Then it tracks every meal and calorie burned against it. It's not a diet. It's the number you need to hit, and the tools to hit it. HOW DEFICIT WORKS 1. Take the 60-second onboarding quiz. We ask about your weight, your goal, your activity level, and a few other inputs. 2. Get your daily calorie target. Built on real metabolic science—TDEE, BMR, and activity multipliers—not a generic 1,200 calorie guess. 3. Log meals, sync your wearables, and hit the number. Deficit auto-adjusts as your weight changes, so your target always matches your goal. WHAT MAKES DEFICIT DIFFERENT - Real math, not photo gimmicks. We calculate your deficit using validated metabolic formulas. - Adjusts as you progress. Drop 10 lbs and your target updates automatically. - Built on data you already have. Pulls calories burned, heart rate, and recovery from your wearables instead of asking you to guess. - Designed to be measurable. Every day either hits the deficit or doesn't. No vague streaks, no fake progress. FEATURES - Personalized daily calorie target - Full macro tracking (protein, carbs, fat) - Fast meal logging - Weight trend and progress charts - Daily streak tracking to keep you consistent - Two-way Apple Health sync - Goal weight and timeline projections INTEGRATIONS - Whoop — pulls strain, recovery, and calories burned - Apple Watch — workouts and heart rate - Apple Health — weight, activity, and nutrition data both directions WHO IT'S FOR People who want to lose weight with a system, not a vibe. Whether you're cutting 10 lbs for an event or 50 lbs for the long haul, Deficit gives you the number to hit and the tools to hit it. If you've tried calorie apps that felt like a chore, or photo apps that felt like a guess, this is the version that actually works.
