Most training apps know *what* muscle an exercise works. Bimetis knows *where* it works the muscle. Romanian deadlifts load your hamstrings at their longest. Leg curls load them at their shortest. They're not the same exercise. Bimetis treats them differently. BUILT ON PERIODIZATION SCIENCE Bimetis generates a complete 6-week mesocycle (8 weeks for Hybrid programs) tailored to your equipment, training split, and goals — strength, hypertrophy, recomposition, or endurance. Not random workouts. An actual periodized plan with progressive overload built in. A FIRST SESSION THAT SETS YOUR WEIGHTS Your first workout is a short calibration session — 2 working sets of each exercise — that sets your starting weights for the block. Pick the day and time you'll do it, and Bimetis reminds you. GROWTH+ EXERCISES Every exercise in Bimetis is rated for how well it loads the target muscle at its longest. The best carry a GROWTH+ badge, and your program prioritizes them. When you swap an exercise, Bimetis warns you if the substitute doesn't work the muscle at its longest the way the original does. BUILT AROUND YOUR GYM Tell Bimetis what equipment your gym has. Your program is generated for your actual setup — not a theoretical fully-equipped facility. Barbell, dumbbell, cable, machine, or bodyweight — Bimetis builds a real program for what you have. INTELLIGENT SWAPS Can't access the cable machine? Barbell rack taken? Bimetis rebuilds the session in real time, scores the biomechanical similarity, and preserves your mesocycle's phase structure instead of just improvising a substitute. You always know what you're trading. PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD TRACKING Double progression with automatic overload suggestions. Bimetis tracks your sets, reps, and load to advance your program week over week — not just suggest a random weight. WHEN YOU STALL, IT NOTICES If your strength on a muscle stops climbing, your next block upgrades that muscle's exercises to ones that load it better at its longest. FRESH EVERY BLOCK Each new block rotates in different exercise variations for the same goal, so your training stays fresh. SUBSCRIPTION Free for 14 days, no card needed. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bimetis at 7 against Good Lift's 1. Good Lift's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Good Lift sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and Bimetis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Good Lift against 5.0 for Bimetis. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bimetis has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Good Lift ships an update monthly, Bimetis every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
