Verdict
Met Opera and Cyasoon both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Cyasoon's written reviews are positive against 57% of Met Opera's. Cyasoon also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Met Opera's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 12) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Met Opera against 4.8 for Cyasoon. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Met Opera has 4.1K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of Met Opera's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cyasoon's.
Met Opera ships an update fortnightly, Cyasoon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
