The app works better but it is difficult to navigate
App does not send lottery notification
The app does not send the rush lottery notifications (popup). iPhone 15 pro, 26.4 version. All notifications enabled. Can you please fix it?
Good app - still some bugs
Is a frequent opera! goer this is a really good app to have. All of your tickets are in one place and pay attention to the notifications because every now and then the app send you discount to certain performances and I’m always on the lookout for their notices!
There are still some bugs to work out like for instance, it does not let you exchange on the app. I would appreciate it if they added that feature.
But I am appreciative that they worked out the other bug having tickets that you buy elsewhere show up on the app. I am glad that this app exists thank you!

No more rush lottery?
No more rush tickets are showing up. Are you no longer doing this?
Can’t change tickets after you purchased them
Be aware if you buy here tickets far in advance! There is no way you can change them if you’re suddenly out of town! Not sure why this policy is in place in this APP because I’ve been always able to change my tickets at the MET! The prices are not discounted so not sure why tickets can’t be changed if you buy them on this app!

Malfunctioning app
Historically to buy tickets online for the Met has been fretted with difficulties. I hoped this app would solve that but unfortunately it does not. The different sections of the Met have the top sections cut off. If you go online you may see that there are seats available but this app doesn’t show them. I couldn’t find a way to move the section to be able to see the top of the screen but nothing worked.
When I tried to buy those seats online rather than on the app the online version does not work. You click on the seat that you want and nothing happens. I hope they are able to fix all this.

Large letters overwrite each other
I use large type to help me read in various apps. Jue met app enlarges the letters but doesn’t accommodate the larger letters. The result is that the text overwrites itself in an unreadable hodgepodge. If I want to use the app, I have to go to accessibility settings, reduce the type size and go back to the app but then, of course, I have to reverse process to read the NYTimes.

Do Better Met
I’m a Met Member-the app doesn’t recognize me as a member. So had to wait take advantage of 20% off first app purchase. Already have my series for next season but wanted one more opera. Now I can’t purchase tickets through the app-keeps saying unknown error. Tried logging out and back in.
Will not wait on terminal hold for customer service-average is over 30 mins.
If The Met wants to keep seats filled they need to do better.

Does not sync with account
I was happy to see the Met finally made a ticketing app. I went to log in and my exiting account was recognized. But none of my tickets for upcoming shows are recognized by the app. My subscription tickets are all on the website, but not in the app. Hopefully they will fix this in the future, but for now the app is useless for me to check on my seats and dates of upcoming shows.

Can’t log in with my MET ID
Unable to use the App because as a long-standing MET subscriber my ID is a number not an email address though the ID number has an email address associated with it. This App won’t let me login with the ID number. When I try to login with the email address it wants a password that doesn’t exist since my Account’s password is connected to the ID number not the email address. If I try to do a new registration with the email address, it tells me an account already exists that is tied to that email address. Didn’t have this problem with my MET Opera on Demand App that allows me to log in with my ID number just like the MET opera website does.

Can’t log in
The app doesn’t allow me to log in with existing (web) user credentials. It forces you to register a new account even though it says “login or register”.
Amazing app!
So glad that the Met Opera has created N app! So much easier to enter into a lottery for Rush tickets and just attend the Opera more often. Bravo Met Opera!!
The Met easier than ever
As a longtime opera fan, I’m glad that the Met has made it even easier to get tickets for their great productions! Plus, it’s so easy to use. Will definitely be entering lots of lotteries to try and get super discounted rush tickets.
