Your workout is ready today, your way, and it adjusts every week based on the effort you logged. Orkadu brings together what usually lives scattered: the training plan, the load log, your latest lab results, check-in measurements, what you report each morning, and your progress over months. FOUR WAYS TO START TRAINING Generate a plan with AI from your profile, build one from scratch, start from a ready template, or import the plan your personal trainer wrote (PDF or photo). You choose. The library has 800+ exercises with visual demos. TRAINING THAT ADJUSTS EVERY WEEK After each gym or home session you mark how it went: light, right, heavy or failed. Next week's loads change because of it. That is the autoregulation no spreadsheet does on its own, whether you lift for strength, size, or to leave the couch safely. CAN I PUSH TODAY? The home screen answers before you ask: today's readiness and this week's load come from the sessions you logged, with the real duration of each one. Missing data? The app says so. It does not make things up. THE FIVE-TAP JOURNAL Every morning: sleep, stress, pain, alcohol, water. Fifteen seconds. It is what no watch measures, and it sits next to the numbers your watch does measure. KADU TALKS TO YOUR DATA Kadu is Orkadu's assistant. Ask about today's workout, the knee that bothers you, or the load that will not go up: it answers with your numbers in hand and suggests the next step. Every week it writes your report with what changed, from facts already in the app. AI READS YOUR LABS, AND YOUR TRAINING TAKES IT INTO ACCOUNT Upload the lab PDF (or a photo of the sheet). Markers become visual reference rulers, you follow each one over time, and your training accounts for what the labs showed. Labs are optional: without them, your plan still comes from your profile. LOGGING WITHOUT FRICTION Log workout, set and load in a few taps, with session time counted for you. Running, walking and cycling take distance, and pace is calculated. Check in with weight, measurements and progress photos: the side-by-side comparison shows what the daily mirror hides. PROFILE, CHALLENGES AND COMMUNITIES You decide whether you show up. The profile is optional: nickname, level and achievements. Never labs, weight, measurements or photos. Invite your training partners to a challenge scored by sessions, or join a community, by invite or open, with a consistency ranking. You agree on what is at stake; the app keeps score, the settling is yours, outside the app. Every post and every member has two-tap reporting and blocking, and moderation responds within 24 hours. For adults 18+. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Health data encrypted (AES-256). Photos have location stripped before storage. Export or delete everything whenever you want, right in the app. 7 DAYS FREE Try everything for 7 days. Then subscribe in the app, billed by the App Store. Orkadu never sees your card. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: BJJ Notes at 180 against Orkadu's 1. BJJ Notes also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Orkadu's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. BJJ Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Orkadu sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Orkadu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BJJ Notes has 180 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of BJJ Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Orkadu's.
BJJ Notes ships an update every 4 days, Orkadu every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
