Blink Analysis is an informational tool that measures blink dynamics using your iPhone’s front camera. After completing a short standardized blinking test involving four visual tasks, you can view measurements such as blink rate, eyelid closure, blink duration, closing and opening intervals, velocity, symmetry, and interblink interval. Blink Analysis uses high-frame-rate video and facial landmark tracking to analyze these recordings directly on your device. Your test recordings and results are stored locally on your device. Blink Analysis does not automatically upload your videos or measurements to the developer or to an external server. You can export session files yourself or delete all locally stored session data from within the app. Blink Analysis is intended for informational and educational use only; its measurements have not been validated as clinical diagnostic tests, and the app does not diagnose or rule out any medical condition.
