Both are free to download. iDryfire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shot Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.7 for iDryfire against 3.7 for Shot Timer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Timer has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of iDryfire's written reviews are positive against 40% of Shot Timer's.
iDryfire ships an update monthly, Shot Timer every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
