Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: FVBmobile at free against CTCB's free with in-app purchases. FVBmobile also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.4). CTCB's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 63%) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 554). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FVBmobile against 4.8 for CTCB. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CTCB has 2.8K ratings behind it against 554, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of FVBmobile's written reviews are positive against 73% of CTCB's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
