LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the exam environment within specific learning and assessment systems. When LockDown Browser is used during an online exam, you are unable to go to other URLs, switch applications, take screenshots, copy questions or print. It essentially locks you into the exam until it’s submitted for grading. Important: This application can only be used with the Respondus Monitor proctoring system if your instructor has enabled the use of an iPad for the exam. If your instructor hasn't enabled the use of an iPad for the exam, you will be unable to use this application with it. While LockDown Browser isn’t the most exciting app available, it does make online assessments possible. And, hey, you can download it for free. This is NOT a limited-feature version and there are NO advertisements of any type.

NoteMate turns a recorded lecture into notes, flashcards and a quiz — so the hour you spent listening becomes something you can actually revise from. No bot joins your call. No setup. Press record in the lecture hall, a seminar, or a meeting — or import a recording from Voice Memos or any app — and NoteMate does the rest. THE LEARNING LOOP 1. Transcript Accurate transcription with speaker labels and timestamps. Watch it appear live while you record, then search it later for the one thing you half-remember. 2. Notes Six summary modes, so the notes match the recording: Lecture, Notes, Action Items, Interview, Standup and Brainstorm. Lecture mode breaks a session into sections you can revise from. 3. Flashcards A deck built from your notes or the full transcript, ready to flip through on the bus. Edit any card — regenerate the deck later and your edits are kept. 4. Quiz Multiple-choice questions from the same lecture, with an explanation for every answer, including the wrong ones. A mistake teaches you something instead of just marking you down. SEND IT WHERE YOU WORK Export to Notion, Google Drive, PDF, Word, Markdown, plain text, CSV or email. Your notes end up in the system you already use, not locked in another app. MADE FOR HOW STUDENTS ACTUALLY STUDY - Record on your phone, no bot on the attendee list, no recording platform required - Works for in-person lectures, seminars, tutorials and group meetings — anything you can hear - Background recording keeps going when you switch apps or lock your phone - Share Extension imports audio from Voice Memos, Files or any other app - Push notification when your notes are ready - Home screen widgets and iPad support If you find it hard to listen and write at the same time — dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, or just a fast lecturer — NoteMate records so you can pay attention, and gives you the notes afterwards. FREE TO START The free plan includes 300 minutes of transcription a month, plus one flashcard deck and one quiz each month. No card required. The Academic Year plan is one payment covering both semesters, with unlimited recording, unlimited flashcards and quizzes, every summary mode and every export. PRIVACY Audio recordings are deleted automatically after transcription — within 24 hours on the free plan and 7 days on paid plans. Your transcripts and notes stay. Recordings are processed securely and you can delete your data at any time. Record your next lecture. Revise from it tonight.
