About

PayBack | Bill Splitter

Features

One person pays the whole bill. Everyone else scans a QR code and instantly sees what they owe. That's PayBack. No sign-up, no card details, no money moving through anyone. Just a shared, live view of who has paid and who hasn't — for the table you're sitting at right now. HOW IT WORKS • Type the total and how many people are splitting it. The app shows each share as you type. • A QR code appears. Friends scan it — or paste a short code — and immediately see "You owe ₺120 for Dinner." • When someone pays you back, however the two of you do it, they tap "I sent it." • You tap to confirm you got it. Both sides agree, and that seat is closed. • "2 of 4 settled" means exactly that, on both phones, as it happens. FOR THE CREW THAT SPLITS EVERY WEEK Football on Thursdays. The same four flatmates. The usual dinner table. Make it a group once, and every session after that takes seconds: keep a roster of names, tick who turned up, and price it from either end — divide the whole check, or charge a flat amount a head and let the app work out the total. Everyone's running dues sit in one place, and one tap clears a friend who handed you cash. GETTING PAID BACK BY TRANSFER Add your IBAN once and it appears on your friends' screens, ready to copy straight into their own banking app. Nothing else happens to it. NO MONEY MOVES THROUGH PAYBACK There is no wallet, no balance, no card entry, and no payment processor. We never hold or move a single lira. You and your friends settle the way you already do — cash, or a transfer you make yourselves. PayBack is the honest shared record that you did. OPTIONAL, NEVER A GATE Your friends never need an account to see what they owe. That is the whole point, and it doesn't change. If you want your own splits to follow you to a new phone, you can make one: a name, a username, a 6-digit PIN. Add a photo if you feel like it. Delete all of it whenever you want, from inside the app. WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT • Zero friction for friends: no sign-up, no account, nothing to type. They scan, and they know. • Honest progress: the bar moves when somebody actually settles, and never before. • Warm by design. It helps you follow up; it never leans on anybody. No red badges, no countdowns, no guilt. • Names are optional and come after paying, never as a gate. • Free, with nothing to buy inside it. Made for dinners, coffees, trips, five-a-side, and every "I'll get this — send me your part later."
