We strongly encourage completing certified training through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. In a real emergency, call 911 immediately and begin compressions—do not use your phone or this app. Requirements iOS 17.3 or later, and firm 3 inch pillow or cushion. The CPRSaveTheBeat app provides a means of practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to make anyone trained and ready to intervene in a sudden cardiac arrest. The app runs on an iPhone (12 or later) and the user needs and a 3 inch firm pillow (or similar) to push down in while being monitored by the iPhone's camera. A detailed report is shown to the user at the end of each CPR Session. This report can be emailed to support further app development.
