About

SaveTheBeat™ with CodeScribe CPR - Learn CPR Anytime Anywhere Learn to save a life. When seconds matter, will you be ready? Nearly 360,000 people experience cardiac arrest outside hospitals each year. Bystander CPR doubles or triples survival rates—but less than half of victims receive it. CodeScribe puts life-saving CPR training in your hands. Practice High-Quality CPR Without a Mannequin Using only your iPhone, a firm cushion, and an AirPlay-capable device, learn and practice Hands-Only CPR with feedback following American Heart Association Guidelines. No classes to schedule. No expensive equipment. Just effective practice whenever you need it. How It Works: ▪ Place your phone on a 3-inch cushion or firm pillow ▪ Voice-activate practice sessions ("COMPUTER START") ▪ Get real-time visual feedback on chest compression rate, depth, and body posture ▪ Built-in metronome keeps you at the optimal 100-120 BPM chest compression rate ▪ Review detailed performance reports after each session Key Features: • Hands-Only CPR training (no rescue breaths) • Real-time feedback using native phone sensors • Customizable session lengths up to 2 minutes • Voice-activated start/stop commands • Available in English and Spanish (more languages coming) • Performance tracking and improvement insights   Important: This app is a practice tool, not a substitute for formal CPR certification. We strongly encourage completing certified training through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. In a real emergency, call 911 immediately and begin compressions—do not use your phone or this app. Requirements: iOS 17.3 or later, and an AirPlay-capable display device required for optimal training experience. The SaveTheBeat app provides a means of practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to make one trained and ready to intervene in an emergency. The app runs on an iPhone (12 or later) and the user needs a SmartTV to connect to the iPhone, and a pillow (or similar) to push down in while being monitored by the iPhone's camera. A detailed report is shown to the user at the end of each CPR Session. This report can be emailed to support further app development.
