inDepth Apnea is a breath-hold trainer for freedivers, spearfishers and anyone who wants to hold their breath longer. Everything runs on your phone. No watch and no account needed: open the app and start your first session. TRAIN ON DRY LAND, STARTING TODAY Dry training is the part of freediving you can do on your living-room floor. Choose from CO2 tables, O2 tables, static holds, apnea walks and residual-volume work. Each exercise explains what it trains and how to do it, and shows the session it will run before you start. Start with a max static. inDepth Apnea builds every table from that personal best, so the work fits you rather than a chart from a book. YOUR COACH, TALKING YOU THROUGH IT Lie back, close your eyes and let the app run the clock. Voice and haptic cues call every phase: breathe up, hold, recover. Tap once to mark your first contraction. When the session ends you see how each hold went against what was planned, and when you're ready for the next level. A PLAN FOR YOUR WEEK The Today card shows your next session. The week view shows what's coming. Once you have enough sessions, the app tells you what is holding you back and which exercises train it. BUILT ON HOW TRAINING ACTUALLY WORKS Breath-hold is trainable, and the body adapts to it the way it adapts to any other training load. inDepth Apnea follows the principles serious sports are coached by: • Progressive overload. Every table is a share of your measured personal best, and each exercise climbs a ladder of levels. You earn the next level by completing the current one cleanly, not by guessing. • Specificity. CO2 tolerance, O2 tolerance and the urge to breathe are different limits, and each responds to different work. The app reads your sessions, tells you which one is holding you back, and points you to the exercises that train it. • Periodization. Pick a Base, Specific or Peaking phase and your week is planned around it: how often the key session comes round, and how hard it is. • Recovery. Rest is prescribed, not left to chance. You set how many sessions a week you want, and there are no streaks to keep. • Honest feedback. If you stop because you feel light-headed or panicky, the session ends there. It never counts as a pass or a personal best, and the app never answers a warning sign by asking for more. ONE LOGBOOK Every session lands in a single newest-first logbook, with trends and personal bests over time. Name, tag and annotate sessions. Export everything as CSV, or save a single-file backup you can restore on another phone. Cloud backup is optional. You only need to sign in if you want it. GOT A GARMIN WATCH? IT'S OPTIONAL If you have a supported Garmin watch, free inDepth Apnea watch apps add heart rate on your dry holds, and take your logbook into the water: • Dry: run your tables on your wrist, eyes shut, with heart rate through every hold. • Depth: dive profile, descent and ascent rates, hang time and water temperature, with surface-rest checks (2x/3x, Adaptive, Taravana, Molchanovs). • Pool: rep-by-rep splits and rest for DYN, DYNB, DNF and STA, plus workouts you build on the phone and swim from the watch. The watch apps install from your computer in a couple of minutes. Instructions and supported models: https://in-depth.app/help SAFETY inDepth Apnea is a training tool, not a dive computer and not a medical device. Never train breath-holds in or near water alone, and never do dry holds standing up. COMPATIBILITY Dry training, the logbook and backup all work on the phone alone. The optional watch features need the inDepth Apnea Blue, Pool or Dry app on a supported Garmin device, plus Garmin Connect Mobile.
