Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: ReelLists at 100% against Skylight Social's 35%. ReelLists also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4). Skylight Social's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReelLists holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skylight Social has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of Skylight Social's written reviews are positive against 100% of ReelLists's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
