Almost? helps you learn from near misses. Capture the moments that almost happened, review the patterns behind them, and turn those patterns into practical adjustments you can actually follow. Whether you almost forgot something important, almost missed a run, or almost repeated the same mistake again, Almost? gives you a simple loop: • Capture almosts quickly • Tag what contributed to them • Find recurring patterns • Turn patterns into adjustments • Review what is active, stabilized, or archived Almost? is lightweight, private by default, and built to help you improve through small corrections over time.

Patterns is a private OCD journal and self-help practice companion. Record intrusive thoughts and compulsions, write journal entries, delay an urge, and practise exposure and response prevention (ERP). Calm Insights can replace calculated scores and streaks with factual activity counts. Personal content stays on your device unless you choose to export an unencrypted JSON backup or PDF. Optional anonymous usage analytics are off by default and never include OCD content, summaries, locale, or language choice. Patterns does not diagnose or treat OCD and is not a replacement for qualified care or emergency support.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Almost? at none against Patterns's 4. Patterns's advantage is device support and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price there is nothing between them.
