Tail Time — a cute, smarter dog age calculator. The old "one dog year equals seven human years" rule is a myth. Dogs actually age much faster in their first two years and then slow down at a pace that depends on their breed, size, and weight. TallyTail does the math for you — with a warm, friendly design that makes it a joy to use. WHY TAIL TIME? Most dog age calculators use a single formula for every dog. TallyTail personalizes the result based on: • Breed — 30+ curated breeds, each with realistic average lifespans • Size class — Toy, Small, Medium, Large, and Giant breeds age differently • Weight — because a 90 lb Lab ages faster than a 60 lb Lab THREE WAYS TO CALCULATE • Purebred — pick a breed, set the weight, and go. • Mix — pick two breeds and TallyTail blends their size, lifespan, and aging rate. • Mystery Mix — don't know the breed? Just enter the weight. Perfect for rescues and mutts. BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLE, DELIGHTFUL • A single, uncluttered screen — no menus to navigate, no accounts to create • Live-updating result as you drag the sliders • Life-stage badge tells you if your pup is a Puppy, Adolescent, Adult, Senior, or Wise Elder • A little paw walks along a life-progress bar as your dog grows • Short, kind descriptions of every life stage to help you understand your dog's journey FEATURES • 30+ popular breeds with accurate average lifespans • Weight-aware aging • Life-stage detection based on % of lifespan lived • "Why this number?" card that explains the math for your dog • Fully offline — works anywhere, anytime • No account, no ads, no tracking, no data collection WHO IT'S FOR • Dog owners curious about their pup's real age • Adopters of rescues and mutts who don't know the breed • Parents helping kids learn about pets and life stages • Anyone who wants a sweeter, smarter answer than the seven-year rule PRIVACY FIRST Tail Time collects nothing.
