G2 software is unusable. Initially the software was just glitchy. After several months of trial the glasses do not connect to app. The ring is a good idea, but difficult to use in practice. It is touchy, and inevitably you end up on an unwanted screen. A third of the display on the glasses is constantly displaying date and time, which is useless. App tries to update, but fails and has to be closed. I have given up and just use them as a spare set of glasses. Company produces great videos selling the product, but almost none teaching how to customize displays and actually use the product. This is very bad product with very good marketing selling a promising idea.

It’s almost there!
So I’ve been using the glasses for several weeks daily and I love the glasses. It really is sleek, minimalistic and best of all people don’t really know they are smart glasses. But what makes them better is the app of course. Especially the new addition of the Even Hub. This makes the opportunities of expanding its functions much wider.
One thing I recommend if you can add the function of folders to translation and conversate mode. That would help in organization instead of having a long list of sessions. Or even having tags, that would be great and highly appreciated.

Worst than I thought
I purchased the G2 and R1, with the anticipation that I would semi enjoy them. With my type work I assumed that they would be reliable enough for me to use them- big mistake. Besides, the perpetual -no Bluetooth connection- I went on days with the glasses unable to find my phone and signed my out from the app- I unfortunately added my prescription on there and was able to use them momentarily as I would of any regular glasses. I tried to troubleshoot them but was unsuccessful. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. They are purely cosmetic and nothing else. The one star is for the effort

Amazing hardware and software improving
I’m a software engineer, I mainly brought these to utilize Ai through the glasses and reference my notion database through Claude.
They incorporated terminal mode which has been amazing, yet I wish they would incorporate this into the main UI of the glasses. The goal is to have as little phone interaction as possible. Would rather select terminal mode or any feature from the menu instead of the app. I see they are consistory making improvements, and as an engineer myself I understand the grind. 10/10 product would definitely market this out to high performing tech engineers.

The future
I absolutely love my G2/R1. Yes, there are occasional software hiccups, but nothing that can't be resolved with updates-and their dev team consistently delivers. Unlike some competitors I've used, ER actually listens to its customers and pushes out improvements regularly.
The glasses themselves are incredible, and the support team has been nothing short of outstanding-responsive, helpful, and genuinely committed.
Highly recommend ER. I'll be supporting every product they release moving forward

Honest Review
Hardware (G2 & R1) 10 out of 10. ER Software (7 out of 10). I love this product. They just need to refine the software and add driving directions for subtle notifications. Once they take care of these issues this could replace my smart watch.
Dead end
I’ve had these glasses (prescription) for less than a week. Right away the ring want working well with the menu popping up randomly. Then the display got stuck and wouldn’t move. I ended up resetting the glasses on the app and it worked again. Then the glasses wouldn’t turn on. Finally I was able to link them to the app on the phone again. Next the left display was stuck on and I had to sit through church with one stuck display on (distracting). When I got home, I was able to get that display off and now nothing works. It’s not connecting to the phone, not sure if it’s charging and the display isn’t working. This was a ton of money for a pair of nice looking glasses with non-functioning tech.

Used to be Disappointing
Back in Jan 26, I gave this a 2/5 but Even Realities just keeps on improving! Conversate has been an indispensable tool for me at work allowing me to catch and retain easy more details than I normally could without it. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t allow copying the transcript.
Navigation is still not useful because it is limited only to walking or cycling. Please fix.

Amazing
The glasses, the ring, the app… All work extremely well! The UI and the functionality are all so well defined and well focused, and everything has a lot of finesse. The conversate feature was just updated and works even better. It’s one of the most useful applications of AI have seen. I’ve already tried it a number of times. Stanley connections between devices… Very pleased! 👍

Great but know your limits
This is a great interface for glasses. I want you to understand that these are glasses is not a computer and this is not an iPad. This is not an Apple Watch. These are literally glasses so understand what you’re getting yourself into and lower your expectations. Now, if you touch down with reality, you will find the glasses and the interface very useful. However, you definitely need the R1 ring maximize it.

More with Teleprompt Mode
I have the prescription version of the Even Realities G2 glasses, and one of my favorite features is the Teleprompt mode. I use Tele prompt mode, not only when I’m teaching, but also I upload PDFs of scientific articles and read them during my break using the Teleprompt feature. It would be great to have an E-reader mode added within the app.
Overall, I am very happy with the G2 glasses. Looking forward to future updates from Even Realities.

Really exciting new stuff
I got the even g2 and r1 ring a few days ago and so far they’ve been great. I do really wish they had a navigation feature for when your driving though and I hope this gets added in the future. Another thing that I wasn’t a huge fan of was how restricted you are to the original ui and setup of the features of the glasses, for example I have yet to find a way to completely remove a tab from the dashboard, I would really like to just get rid of the news tab but I don’t think there’s an option for that. Also the customization of the “widgets” (for lack of a better word) on you screen seems a little bit lacking. But I do realize this is still new tech so as long as Even Reality’s keeps updating it based off of what the consumers want I think it will just get better.
Edit - Ah yes one more thing, I think a really cool feature would be if you could see what music is playing in your phone through the glasses. I don’t know how possible this is but it would be pretty great.

Good, but..
News says something went wrong and wont load 50% of time, Conversate mode usually requires i restart the app to reconnect to phone and i would really like to be able to export the entire transcript not just the Even ai summary.
Disappointed
News choices are ALL LIBERAL!!! I didn’t know I wouldn’t be able to view “True” news from more reliable sources rather than have to be subjected to the same propaganda we’re trying to escape. How about some FOX, Newsmax and or SKY Australia?… You MUST DO BETTER. For the price, we are disappointed… other than the news choices, the glasses and ring work 85% of the time… the ring is problematic for a few reasons, it doesn’t work for my wife who has soft skin. The sensors won’t register when she moves her finger over the dots unless she presses hard, and when she does, it’s difficult to effectively choose what she wishes.

I own the G2 glasses and R1 ring, and the hardware itself is impressive. The display is sharp, the design is subtle, and the AI features are exactly what I was looking for when I purchased them. Unfortunately, a persistent app issue has made it nearly impossible to rely on those features.
The Even Realities app consistently loses its network connection whenever it moves to the background on my iPhone. When this happens, the G2 glasses lose access to Even AI — which is the core functionality of the product. This isn't an occasional hiccup. It happens regularly throughout the day, even while I'm sitting at my desk with a perfectly stable Wi-Fi and cellular connection.
To be clear, this is not a Bluetooth pairing problem. The glasses stay connected to my phone. The issue is that the app drops its internet connection when it's not in the foreground, which severs the link between the glasses and Even AI.
I've done my due diligence troubleshooting: Background App Refresh is enabled, battery saver is off, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and both the app and glasses firmware are fully up to date. Nothing has resolved it.

Shipping took a while sure it was the first batch and i didnt mind i am not like anyone on reddit whos complaining or canceling the order i picked evenrealities deliberately it seems like a passion project and has a niche target audience i am the target and i love them theyre exactly what i wanted they arent worn to be distracting or take you away from reality but instead they are there to be helpful when you have a question need a reminder need to take note of stuff need advice need directions all these things that can replace taking out your phone and thats genius i really support and admire evenrealities so i am thanking you and look forward to furthering development great work!

Worst Glasses
I will highly recommend not to buy these glasses Please. I ordered the Even Realistic G2 glasses for my office work that the AI feature will be helpful, but when I ask the Even AI to write me a passage on a specific topic, it writes it which is fantastic, but now the things changes. When I start to speak that topic in front of team members, Even AI listens it and start to write something else, which make the original text to disappear or to move upper. This all thing happen without giving any command, which is so frustrating. Like what is the purpose if you can not speak in the meetings or can not take a proper advantage of the AI feature. So my recommendation is not to waste money on this useless product please.

I use these weekly as a teleprompter for public speaking. Sure there’s some hiccups here and there, but it’s amazing having a teleprompter that works well in front of you at all times.
Also, conversate is amazing. I just wish you could export the actual transcript, not just the AI summary.
