About

WorkTracker

Features

WorkTracker is a time tracker for engineers and consultants who have to book their hours on projects – and want to spend as little time doing it as possible. CLOCK IN, CLOCK OUT • One tap in the morning, one at lunch, one when you leave. Only clocked-in time counts. • Tag a pause as lunch or break; paid short breaks are credited automatically. • Forgot to clock out? The app reminds you and fixes it with one tap. TRACK PROJECTS AND TASKS • Pick a project and task while you work; switching starts the next activity. • Edit times afterwards – move the neighbouring activity along or leave a gap and assign it later. No minute is lost. • Clocked-in time without an activity is shown on the day's timeline and can be assigned in one tap. REPORTS THAT MATCH YOUR TIMESHEET • Day, week and month views with hours per project number, rounded to 0.25 h. • Target hours, overtime today and the running overtime balance. • Absences: sick, holiday, public holiday, compensation, education. • Export CSV for a spreadsheet or your ERP system. WORKING-TIME RULES • Configurable schedule per weekday (part-time friendly), legal maximum per week. • Warnings for missing breaks, long days and weeks over the limit (Swiss rules by default). WIDGETS • Home-screen widget with today's clocked-in time, the running activity, Clock in / Clock out and one-tap task switching. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • Everything is stored on your device. No account, no server, no tracking. • Optional automatic backup into a folder you choose – Google Drive, iCloud Drive or a local folder – and one-file restore on any device. • Also available for Windows, macOS and Linux. Languages: English, German, French.
