TaskArc is the quote-to-cash app for solo contractors and one-person trade businesses. Describe a job in plain words and AI writes the itemized estimate: labor, materials and prices you can check and change before you send it. Then run the job, invoice it and record the payment, all from your phone. DESCRIBE THE JOB, GET THE ESTIMATE Type or speak the job the way you would tell the customer. TaskArc turns it into priced lines, each marked Labor or Material, and every line is editable. Nothing is sent until you have checked the total. PRICED FROM YOUR OWN RATES Set your labor rate and the parts you use once, in your price book. TaskArc starts you on typical rates for your trade, and the quote builder reads your prices first. SEND IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE DRIVEWAY Send the quote by text, email or link. Your customer sees a clean quote with your business details, and you can see when it has been viewed and accepted. FROM ACCEPTED QUOTE TO FINISHED JOB Schedule the work and track it from Scheduled to In progress to Completed. Keep tasks, photos, expenses and notes on the job. JOB DONE? INVOICE IT When a job is complete, TaskArc offers to turn it into an invoice with the quote and logged expenses already on it. Send it, see what is overdue, and send a reminder by email or text. RECORD THE PAYMENT Log each payment against the invoice and watch the balance clear. When a customer pays in full, ask them for a Google review with one tap. SEE WHO OWES YOU Home opens on what matters: money owed to you, overdue invoices, quotes waiting for a reply and this week's jobs. KNOW WHAT YOU ACTUALLY MADE Profit and margin for the month, revenue against expenses, quote acceptance rate, days to get paid and your top customers. BUILT FOR ONE PERSON, NOT A CREW Most field service software is priced and built for companies with dispatchers and per-seat licenses. TaskArc is built for the person in the truck: no crew features you will never use and no long setup. MADE FOR Plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofers, painters, handymen, landscapers, carpenters, masons, tile setters, drywall, flooring and general contractors. PRICING TaskArc Pro is $19.00 per month or $182.99 per year, about 20 percent less than paying monthly. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: Project Proctor at free with in-app purchases against TaskArc's subscription. Project Proctor also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). TaskArc's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
