Tired, screen-weary eyes? EyeReset gives you a 1-minute guided blink reset and a 20-20-20 break timer on your Lock Screen. No account needed. EyeReset is a small, calm app for people who look at screens all day. It does three things well: it reminds you to take eye breaks, it walks you through short guided exercises, and it shows you your own pattern so you can see whether breaks are making your days more comfortable. START WITH A 1-MINUTE RESET Eyes hurting right now? Tap "My eyes hurt right now" and follow a short, voice-guided blink session. People tend to blink about half as often when looking at screens, so complete, deliberate blinks are a good place to start. Rate how your eyes feel before and after, and that is it. From the Home tab or the Home Screen widget you can also run the longer 3-minute sequence, which adds an eyes-closed rest. THE 20-20-20 TIMER, WHERE YOU ALREADY LOOK The 20-20-20 rule is a commonly recommended way to take screen breaks: every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds. It is a convention, a memorable prompt rather than a prescription, and EyeReset treats it that way. Choose a different interval if you prefer. - Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can see how long until your next break without opening the app - A Home Screen and Lock Screen widget that starts a relief session with one tap - Reminders keep going for a full week even if you do not open the app - Pick a standard reminder, or switch to a calm, silent delivery style anytime in Settings - A 20-second break, or a 60-second guided break when 20 seconds is not enough GUIDED EXERCISE LIBRARY Short, step-by-step exercises in four groups: - 20-20-20: look-away breaks - Blinking: slow, complete blinks - Convergence: near-focus exercises - Accommodation: changing focus between near and far during a break Voice guidance walks you through the exercises. These are break routines, not therapy. They make no claim to change your eyesight. AN EVENING CHECK-IN THAT SHOWS YOUR OWN PATTERN Each evening, rate your eye comfort in a few seconds. After two weeks, EyeReset shows a plain verdict: on the days you took breaks, did your eyes feel better? It is self-reported and personal to you, not a controlled study, and the app says so. You can export a PDF summary to share with your optometrist. KEEP THE HABIT GOING In a small two-week study of computer users, break reminders were followed by lower reported eye-strain and dry-eye symptoms, and the benefit faded once the reminders stopped. A small study is not proof, but it is a good reason to keep gentle reminders switched on. Streaks track your consistency, and they stay on your phone. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No account or sign-up needed - Your breaks, check-ins and streaks stay on your device - Anonymous usage analytics only, which you can switch off in Settings - Read the plain-language privacy policy: https://yeshivsher.com/apps/eye-reset/privacy GOOD TO KNOW Screens do not damage your eyes permanently, but they can leave them uncomfortable. Eye-care bodies such as the American Optometric Association recommend regular breaks, a comfortable screen distance and frequent blinking. EyeReset is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If your eyes hurt persistently, or your vision changes, see an eye-care professional.
