Workout Reader
Read full descriptionHide full description
Workout Reader puts a structured training plan on your Apple Watch. Send it a .workoutplan file β from the share sheet, AirDrop, Files or βOpen inβ β and the app shows you what is inside: warm-up, intervals, targets, cool-down, one card per session. Pick a time for anything the file left undated, tap Add to Apple Watch, and the workouts appear in the Workout app on the watch, ready to start with one tap. No copying steps by hand, no tapping intervals into a small screen. WHAT IT READS β’ Interval workouts: warm-up, repeated blocks, work and recovery steps, cool-down β’ Single-goal workouts: open, distance, time or calories β’ Pacer workouts: a distance in a target time β’ Triathlon: swim, bike and run in one session β’ Targets by heart-rate zone, pace, speed, power or cadence β’ Running, cycling, swimming, strength, rowing, HIIT and the other activities the watch records AN OPEN FORMAT .workoutplan is plain JSON with a published specification and a JSON Schema. A coach can write one, a spreadsheet can export one, a script can generate one, an AI assistant can produce one. This app is one reader of the format, not its owner, and nothing about your training is locked to it. A CLAUDE SKILL, BUNDLED The Create tab hands you a ready-made skill for Claude Code. Install it once, ask for a training week in plain language, and a .workoutplan comes back for the app to put on the watch. It is one packaged way to write a file, not the only one. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics, no ads. Plans stay on the iPhone. The only thing that leaves the app is the workout you ask it to hand to your own watch. English and Russian. Scheduling needs an iPhone with a paired Apple Watch. Reading and previewing a plan works anywhere.
