About

Dead Script

Features

You are a writer being unwritten. The only thing that fights back is the next word. DEAD SCRIPT is a noir manuscript-horror typing shooter. Enemies fall with a word stitched to them — type the word to destroy it before it reaches you. Miss a letter and the page fills with ink. DESCEND THE PRESS Five chapters of a dying manuscript, each printed in a different process color of the CMYK press — and each one plays differently: • I — THE MORGUE OF DELETED SCENES. Cut characters drag themselves off the slab; their words arrive redacted until you declassify them. • II — THE ROTTING ROTOGRAVURE. The press stamps enemies out in synchronized rows, on the beat. • III — THE WHARF OF WASTED INK. A rising ink tide lifts and drowns the words. • IV — THE BINDERY OF BOUND SOULS. Words come stitched into chains, sewn shut as they scream. • V — THE BLANK PAGE. Words erase from the end as you race to type them. FIVE BOSS DUELS Five wardens bend language against you — redaction, the red pen, forgeries, stitched chains, and erasure itself. When a boss winds up, a counter word flashes: type it in time to parry and stagger them, then strike with everything you've got. UNLEASH THE PURGE Clean hits charge an ultimate. Tap your character to spend it — clear the entire screen and refill your health in a single keystroke. YOUR KEYBOARD, YOUR WAY Play with the native iOS keyboard or the in-game typewriter. Easy, Medium, or Hard. Chapters unlock as you clear them. Chase your best score on every difficulty. Hand-inked charcoal-and-paper art, a misregistered CMYK identity, a cinematic intro, and a soundtrack of dread. Type fast. Type clean. Or the next thing erased is you.
