StarPause vs PonyPause

You open your phone to search—and lose hours to your feed. You scroll to relax at home—and suddenly, it’s 3AM at night. You try to scroll less, but fail. You blame your lack of self-control—but it’s not your fault. Some of the world’s smartest engineers work daily to make apps better at playing on our weaknesses, keeping you scrolling and turning your time into ad money. It drains your time, breaks your focus, and takes the joy out of your digital life—you need help. That’s why we built StarPause. Open an app you struggle to stop using, and StarPause steps in: Do you need this right now? Choose to leave, and light up a star. If you need to stay, set a time limit—StarPause stops you when it’s up. Start a focus session, and earn stars when you finish. Every time you choose to put your phone down or stay focused, your starry sky grows. Time and energy are our greatest treasures—let StarPause help you protect them. PonyPause is a break reminder and everyday companion for iPhone and iPad. Whether you are scrolling, working, or studying, let a little pony keep track of break time: put down the screen, look into the distance, and stand up for a moment. Give your eyes, body, and mind room to unwind. Enjoy your phone. Remember to take a break. Ready for some phone time? Your pony starts with a simple question: “Are you sure you want to open this app?” Turn on Leisure mode for regular reminders to put down your phone, look away, and get up and move, at intervals you choose. Enjoy your downtime, and give your eyes and body a little rest along the way. Focus for a while. Unwind for a while. Whether you are working hard, studying, or taking a little downtime, your pony keeps you company and reminds you to move, drink some water, and relax at your chosen intervals. Focus matters, but rest matters even more. Leave a little space in your day, with a break alongside every stretch of focus. Find your rhythm Keep track of your focus time, leisure time, breaks, and completed activities in PonyPause, and look back on your daily habits. Your records on Mac and iPhone With Pro and iCloud sync enabled, your focus, leisure, break, and activity records on Mac and iOS can sync to your private iCloud. Use the same iCloud account and enable sync on both devices to review your daily rhythm across devices. Even after deleting and reinstalling the app, restoring Pro and turning sync back on lets you retrieve previously synced records that are still stored in that iCloud account. Permissions and subscriptions App locking requires Screen Time authorization and is subject to system limitations. Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. See the purchase confirmation for pricing and the subscription period. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account, and restore purchases in the app. PonyPause supports everyday wellness habits and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
