Calmena supports people living with emetophobia, the fear of vomiting. The app offers a guided 14-day journey that you follow at your own pace. ONE STEP EACH DAY A short lesson to understand what is going on, then an exercise that matches your level. There is no calendar to keep up with. The next day opens once you have practised. GENTLE PROGRESSION Gradual exposure exercises start with single words, then move on to descriptions, images, and finally sounds and videos. You rate your anxiety before and after each session to follow your progress. WHAT CALMENA INCLUDES • A 14-day journey with 9 short lessons • Nearly 200 exposure items across 4 levels • More than 130 everyday challenges, from the easiest to the most demanding • Breathing and relaxation exercises, available at any time • A journal to note your mood, your anxiety and your thoughts • Tracking of the safety behaviours you want to reduce • Statistics to see how far you have come • A quick help button for difficult moments A STRUCTURED APPROACH The exercises are inspired by CBT literature. Sources are listed in the app. FREE TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION Your first session is open without a subscription. To follow the whole journey, the annual subscription starts with 14 free days, then costs €19.99 per year. Nothing is charged during the trial. The subscription renews every year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, from your App Store account settings. YOUR DATA Your data belongs to you. You can export it or delete your account at any time from your profile. IMPORTANT Calmena is a well-being support app. It does not replace medical or psychological care. If anxiety keeps you from living normally, please talk to a health professional.
