Read full descriptionHide full description
Vidik identifies the mountain peaks and islands you can see from where you stand in Croatia β from Adriatic islands to inland summits β and, on a clear day, even the coast of Italy across the sea. Open the app, point your phone in the direction you're looking, and Vidik shows what's visible β with names and distances. WHAT YOU GET β’ A map with a directional viewing cone β rotate it to look any way β’ A list of visible islands, peaks and the Italian coast, sorted by distance β’ A terrain cross-section showing what blocks and what clears the view β’ A 48-hour visibility forecast β when the air will be clearest β’ Nearly 190 Adriatic islands and peaks β’ Croatian & English HOW IT WORKS Vidik doesn't guess. It computes the true line of sight from: β’ terrain elevation (bundled Copernicus data β works offline) β’ the curvature of the Earth and atmospheric refraction β’ live atmospheric visibility from Apple Weather If a ridge or island blocks the view, Vidik knows, and won't list it as visible. PRIVACY No accounts, no servers, no tracking, no ads. Terrain works offline; your location is used only on-device and sent to Apple Weather for the forecast.
