OPMODE

OPMODE prescribes your training. Not a log you fill in — a system that decides the weight, adjusts it when your recovery says to, and shows you why. IT DECIDES THE WEIGHT Every working set arrives with a number. • Load comes from a published reps-by-RPE strength chart, not a formula we invented. • Progression adds reps before it adds weight, then rounds up, so small lifts never stall on a rounding error. • Your effort ratings are calibrated against your heart rate, so consistent under-reporting stops earning weight you are not ready for. • 1RM estimates are domain-limited. Past roughly ten reps the math gets unreliable, so it declines to guess. IT READS YOUR RECOVERY Sleep, HRV and resting heart rate become one readiness number. • A poor-recovery day pulls heavy compounds hardest, accessories less, mobility not at all. • Fourteen days away triggers a graded return instead of dropping you back on your old numbers. • No watch? A thirty-second check-in produces the same number. IT SHOWS ITS WORK • Every adjustment names its reason, and every one can be undone. • One adjustment wins and is applied once. Changes never quietly compound. • Where a signal is only being monitored, the app says so rather than implying it drives your training. FUEL • Your calorie target moves with your training. A hard session today means more food today. • Macros are derived from your calorie and protein targets, so all four can be hit on the same day. • 500,000+ foods, barcode scanning, natural-language logging, saved meals. Works offline. PROGRESSION • Seven ranks across six tactical archetypes. • Operation Spearhead — seasonal territory across Strength, Endurance, Bodyweight and Ruck. • Commendations, titles and cosmetics earned from real training. APPLE HEALTH Heart rate, sleep, workouts and steps feed your readiness. SUBSCRIPTION Free trial, then monthly or annual. Cancel anytime. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Verdict
Mac Fitness Tracker and OPMODE are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
