1-bit is a private, bit-exact music player for iPhone and iPad. Play your own files from a UPnP/DLNA media server, an SMB share, your own 1-bit-bridge server, a folder on your device, or 1-bit Cloud, a private library we host for you. No analytics, no ads, and no account unless you choose the cloud. SOURCES • UPnP/DLNA media servers on your Wi-Fi: NAS, MiniDLNA, Plex, a Chord 2Go. Found automatically, streamed bit-exact, DSD included. • SMB shares on your home network. • 1-bit-bridge, a free, open-source (MIT) server you run on Mac, Linux, Pi or Windows. AUDIO • Bit-exact PCM (FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, MP3, M4A) up to the limits of your DAC. • Bit-exact DSD over DoP for DSF and DSDIFF, up to DSD256, with a USB DAC that reports DoP lock (Chord, iFi, Topping, Mytek and others). • DSD on any output (new): AirPods, AirPlay, CarPlay and the speaker play DSD converted to PCM on the phone and labeled as such. A wired DAC still gets the untouched path. • SACD .iso rips open into per-track rows; DST-compressed DSDIFF decodes as it plays (new). • Gapless when adjacent tracks match. VOICE, SIRI & CARPLAY • "Hey Siri, play [album, artist, playlist, or genre] on 1-bit". Shortcuts and Spotlight too. • CarPlay: Recently Added and Played, Artists, Albums, Playlists, Favorites and Downloads, A to Z indexed, with voice search and Shuffle. Its browser lists PCM; DSD started from the phone plays converted. HOME MIXES (WITH A BRIDGE) • Your bridge builds mixes from your listening: Heavy Rotation, Daily Mix, On Repeat, Favorites and more; they can cache overnight for offline play. OUTPUT • Play through a USB DAC, AirPods, AirPlay 2 or the speaker, or cast to a DLNA renderer such as a Chord 2Go. LIBRARY • Fast enough for 50,000+ tracks across every source; the first scan carries on overnight while charging. • Browse by artist, album, composer, genre, folder, playlist or a flat Tracks list, with an "Appears On" section. Search everything, filter by source. • Heart tracks and albums; Favorites can follow you across devices with a bridge. PLAYER • A redesigned Now Playing with a waveform scrubber; the floating player arrives on iPad. • Resume where you left off.
