World Timeline turns the whole span of world history into something you can hold in your hand and explore. Spin an interactive globe and watch the political map redraw itself century by century. Scrub a single timeline from Creation to the present day. Read one short history lesson a day. Built for homeschool families, students, and anyone who has ever wondered what was happening in China while Rome was falling. WHAT'S INSIDE Daily Study - new A guided reading a day, with your place kept for you. The first guide, World History in 30 Days, walks from the Tower of Babel to the edge of living memory. Each day is a 5 to 8 minute reading: what happened, what else was going on in the world at that same moment, what historians are sure of and what is still argued about, and one question to talk over at the table. Tap a place in the reading and the globe opens to it in that very year; tap an event and its full entry opens. A new chapter unlocks each day, and more guides are on the way. Interactive Globe A year-by-year political map reaching back to 4000 BC. Move the year slider and borders, empires and nations shift in front of you. Tap a region to see who held it at that moment and read a full write-up on that people or nation. Search any person, place or event and jump straight to it. Timeline More than six thousand years on one scrollable canvas, from Creation in 4004 BC to today, across 37 parallel streams of civilizations, rulers, inventions, wars and turning points. Era blocks give the ancient world as much room as the modern one, so you can see which powers were rising while others fell. Events A searchable, filterable list of more than 1,700 events and 200 historical figures: Biblical events, ancient battles, city foundings, voyages of exploration, scientific milestones. Tap any one to jump to it on the globe and the timeline. Study Playground Pick the people, places and events you are studying and generate a ready-made study prompt for ChatGPT or Claude, with one-tap presets for a dozen major topics. Works offline The globe, every historical map frame, the daily readings and all the history data ship inside the app. No account, no login, no signal required. BUILT FOR HOMESCHOOL World Timeline is made by a homeschool dad to give kids the big-picture view a textbook chapter cannot: how the stories, civilizations and events of the past line up on one map and one timeline. It pairs with any history curriculum. The chronology follows the Masoretic text as computed by Archbishop Ussher: Creation in 4004 BC, the Flood in 2348 BC, the Tower of Babel about 2242 BC, the Exodus in 1491 BC - the dates printed in most Bible margins and used by most homeschool curricula. History is presented in an atlas-style voice and, where relevant, from a Biblical perspective, so families can use the lens that fits their studies. World History in 30 Days is written for every family, not only Christian ones. The first reading lays out the framework the guide is dated by; from there the days are ordinary world history. FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL UPGRADE World Timeline is free to download and everything above is included. Ads appear occasionally as you explore, and a one-time in-app purchase removes them permanently. There is no subscription. Everyone who bought the app before it went free keeps the full ad-free version automatically. A NOTE ON ACCURACY History is big and the record is imperfect. Historical borders come from a public research dataset that maps political control at snapshot years; between two snapshots the app shows the most recent mapped borders and labels which year they are from, rather than inventing a map. Dates and details are simplified for clarity, and reasonable sources disagree. Use World Timeline as a learning companion and a starting point for deeper study. If you spot something wrong, the About tab has a feedback form and every message gets read by an actual person. Made by BlessedHomeschoolDad.com

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: BioFlash at none against World Timeline's shown. World Timeline's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. BioFlash sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and World Timeline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
BioFlash ships an update every 7 months, World Timeline every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
