This app started as something I built for my girlfriend. We'd tried plenty of expense and bill-splitting apps. They were either so fiddly we gave up after two days, or plastered with ads. What we wanted was simple: quick to use, easy on the eyes, no ads getting in the way. Most of all, we wanted to see at a glance where the money went this month and who paid more (honestly, it's saved us a few arguments). We spent a year on it, tweaking it every day — me building, her giving me grief — fixing anything that felt off until it finally felt right. If you're looking for a way to track shared money that isn't complicated, doesn't start fights, and that both of you actually want to open every day, I hope this helps. [Core features] • One shared ledger for two — log an expense and your partner sees it right away • Flexible splits: equal, custom ratio, "I paid for us", or private • 20+ currencies with automatic exchange rates • Separate projects, so travel and daily life don't get mixed up [AI logging] • Voice: say it out loud and it's logged • Snap a receipt and it reads the amount and items • Describe several expenses in one sentence and it splits them for you • Voice and receipt scan share a monthly AI quota [Cat companions] • 12 cat characters — pick one as your avatar • Each cat has its own character card and story; log more to unlock more • You and your partner each get a cat; at settlement they face off, so you see who owes whom [Stats] • Monthly spending charts to see where it's going • A category pie chart for a quick breakdown • Side-by-side contribution, so you both see who paid more • Export to CSV anytime [Easy settlement] • Works out who owes whom, and how much • Settle in one tap, with a clear repayment history • The settlement card shows who owes whom at a glance — no manual reconciling [Languages] 繁體中文, 简体中文, English, ę—„ęœ¬čŖž [Subscriptions] Free: 1 project Ā· 3 AI uses/month Ā· 1 month of stats Plus: 10 projects Ā· 100 AI uses/month Ā· 6 months of stats Ā· auto exchange rates Ā· CSV export Pro: 200 projects Ā· 200 AI uses/month Ā· full stats history Ā· everything unlocked [Subscription terms] • Plus: [local price] / month, or [local price] / year • Pro: [local price] / month, or [local price] / year • The subscription runs for 1 month or 1 year, depending on the plan you choose. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. • Subscriptions renew automatically. They renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends. • You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. • One subscribes, two use: once the ledger owner subscribes, the other member of the ledger is unlocked too — no need to pay twice. Two people, one clear picture of the money — without the spreadsheet and without the arguments. CoupleExpenses is a shared budget and expense tracker built for exactly two: you and your partner. Add an expense in two taps, see where the month actually went, and save toward something together. ONE SHARED SPACE FOR TWO Invite your partner with a single link. Every expense either of you adds appears for both of you instantly — and your partner gets a notification the moment it happens. ALWAYS KNOW WHO PAID Each of you has your own color. Every expense shows whose card it was, or that you shared it, and the home screen shows how the month splits between you. No splitting math, no running tabs. ADD AN EXPENSE IN TWO TAPS A big amount field, colorful category icons and one tap for who paid. Attach a receipt photo or make it repeat every month. Long-press any category to rename it, recolor it or pick a new icon. SEE WHERE THE MONTH WENT A category ring chart, your daily average, the change versus last month and what is left of your income. BUDGETS THAT WARN YOU EARLY Set a monthly limit per category. Bars turn amber at 80% and red when the limit is spent, with a pace line that shows where you should be today. SAVE FOR DREAMS, SIDE BY SIDE Shared goals for a trip, a deposit or a new sofa, with progress rings, a deadline countdown and how much to put aside each month. Savings stay separate from spending, so your totals stay honest. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU NEED • Face ID lock • CSV export of your full history • Works offline — entries sync when you are back online • 38 currencies • Light and dark themes, gentle sounds and haptics • English and Russian PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no trackers, no data selling. Your records are visible to exactly two people: you. ONE SUBSCRIPTION COVERS BOTH OF YOU Only the person who creates the couple subscribes. Your partner joins free.
